Sometime PC becomes slower. This is very disturbing and frustrating. But here's the good news: There is plenty you can do yourself, right now, that'll speed up your computer

Remove Viruses, Spyware and Adware

Without your permission spyware Spyware collects personal information it collects user names and passwords from the websites you visit. spyware can hamper your computer's performance as well. Spyware and Adware can load into computer memory and slow it down.

Maintain Pagefile size

Start> Settings> Control Panel> System> Advanced tab> Performance.> Settings>

Hardware is Sufficient

Make sure you have the proper hardware to support Windows. This is first and most important step to maintain your computer speed

Clean Your Desktop

Try to delete unnecessary files from desktop. Cut and paste them into one folder and save that folder to another drive. And then make a shortcut to that folder at desktop. By this way your computer speed will increase and you can find your document very easily.

Upgrade your operating System

New operating system gives some additional benefits. So you can upgrate and check.

Solve Windows System for Errors

An operating system collecting files that perform different functions and there might be some errors over time which may hampered your pc speed. There are different utility that can solve this problem. For example, tune up utilities.

Better Hardware

Add an additional RAM or upgrade mother board. This computer will run much faster

Uninstall Unused Programs

Try to uninstall those programs which you don’t use. It creates a connection with your operating system. As a result your computer speed may get hampered.

You can find different types of speedup software in net. Some of them are free and some you get trail version.

Reduce Visual Effect

If you do not have enough operating memory then reduces visual effect. Different software does this for you or you can do this manually. Go to My Computer > right click > properties > performance > change and save. Your computer becomes much speeder.

Disable Automatic Start Programs.

Use Defrayment and disk clean up from your operating system or through any other software. Run msconfig> Choose startup box > Select uncheck programs you don't want to run on startup.

Windows Load Faster

Click Start> Run> 'msconfig'> Click on the BOOT.INI tab> Make 30 to a 3.

Final step:

If none of those work anymore then reinstall your operating system. This is a scorched earth option. Save your important data or make a back up and then reinstall.

Friends that’s all I got from research. Personally my computer speed becomes very low and I format my C drive every week. Overall it takes one hour but recently I upgraded my desktop hardware. And now my computer runs really fast
